Meet me at the Wort

Meet me

“Jackson Hole’s favorite gathering place began its 65-year history as the dream of a cowboy, Charles J. Wort, who arrived here on horseback in 1893. Meet Me at the Wort tells the story of real-life cowboys, gamblers, modern day outlaws, movie stars, and musicians who found a home in the Silver Dollar Bar. Its colorful past and commitment to community have established The Wort Hotel as a Jackson Hole landmark, endowed with a rich tradition that endures today in the hearts of employees, guests, and locals alike. The legacy of The Wort Hotel lives on.”
