In the fall , glorious golden aspen trees provide a splendid backdrop for the migration of the elk to their winter home on the National Elk Refuge. During the winter, there are activities like downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling in Yellowstone and the surrounding area. Afterwords you can return to the comfort of the Wort Hotel.
