Health and Safety
The health and safety of our guests, patrons and employees is our number one priority. The Wort Hotel and the Silver Dollar Bar & Grill, are closely monitoring national, state and local public health department orders and recommendations, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, government mandates, state ordinances, town ordinances, and public health advancements to offer the highest standard of cleanliness in the age of COVID-19.
The Wort Hotel is using the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s (AHLA) “Safe Stay” initiative which is a new industry-wide protocol for Hotel cleaning standards in response to COVID-19 as its guiding principal document. As the industry evolves with the everchanging times, our on-going and reopening resources focus on enhanced checklists for cleaning practices, contactless technologies where applicable, and work place protocols to meet and exceed the new health/safety challenges.

Are you open?

Are face masks required?
Currently, there is a town ordinance in effect until July 20th requiring all persons to wear a face covering when they are inside a place of business.
What is your current cancellation policy?
For reservations arriving prior to December 23rd, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. For reservations arriving on December 23rd or later, our standard 14 day cancellation policy applies.
What extra steps are you taking to clean and sanitize?
At The Wort Hotel our standard cleaning procedures are based on hospital standards. Since COVID-19, we have placed an extra emphasis on disinfecting high-touch areas in rooms and public areas with products that have been pre-approved by the EPA "for use against emerging enveloped viral pathogens and can be used during the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our housekeeping employees wear gloves, sanitize every surface with a 70% alcohol-based sanitizer and are washing their hands after cleaning every room.
On April 10th, The Wort Hotel was awarded the AAA ‘Best of Housekeeping’ property for 2020. AAA’s Inspector’s Best Of Housekeeping award recognizes AAA Inspected & Approved hotels that receive the highest possible cleanliness and condition scores, giving travelers another important indication of what it means to be a AAA top-rated hotel in North America.
Is your bar/restaurant open?
Yes, we are open for daily dine-in service including breakfast, lunch, and dinner! In the dining area there will be six feet spacing between tables to in order to help practice social distancing. In additional, our staff will be wearing masks as well as washing their hands between interactions with each and every table. We have also brought live music back to the Silver Dollar Showroom with our "Sit Down, Get Down" shows every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday night from 7-10pm. Room service for our in house guests will continue to operate as normal.

What is there to do?
Generally, all summer activities are now open including whitewater rafting, scenic floats, horseback riding, ATV tours, hiking tours, fly fishing, and more! In addition, both Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks have opened all of their entry points.
