Take a step back in time at The Wort Hotel's famous Silver Dollar Bar. This bar, with 2,032 uncirculated 1921 Morgan Silver Dollars inlaid, reflects the colorful history of Jackson Hole and its western legacy. Original oil paintings by famous Western artist Ray McCarty, as well as unique murals and bronzes, highlight our western heritage. The Silver Dollar Bar features free live entertainment three nights a week. The most popular evening in town, Bluegrass Tuesdays, features the locals' favorite band, One Ton Pig. For more than 50 years, this bar has been the favorite meeting place for locals, cowboys, politicians, old-timers, ski bum and visitors alike.
