Nyahmidi is a 6 piece roots reggae and dub band based out of Salt Lake City, UT. Led by bandleader Ras AJ Aaron from Roseau Dominica, Nyahmidi mixes influences  from all eras of reggae music to form a unique and modern bend. Nyahmidi has brought the roots riddim to the Rockies for several years now playing shows for audiences all throughout the northern rockies. The rhythm sections consists of guitarist Chris Towles from Alpine, WY, drummer Tony Tuitupou from Hawaii, and bassist Rudolfo Luque from Argentina. Together they make a potent power triangle triangle with influences all over the globe. Nyahmidi features two singers, sister Kerry Anne Smith from St. Elizabeth Jamaica, and Master Kennedy from the democratic republic of Congo. Master Kennedy has released 5 full length albums worth of original music, as well as several singles.
