Scooped out of an East Idaho drainage, Ditch Cat was fed a steady diet of New Wave, Punk, and Alternative Rock until it became one of Teton Valley’s danciest live acts. The feisty feline four-piece began in 2024 when frontman Miles Knowles opened his garage to jam on Talking Heads and Clash songs with bassist Jason Popilsky and drummer Josh Holmes.

 The band’s true potential was unleashed when Julia Knowles joined on vocals, guitar and keyboard. Ditch Cat performs high energy dance rock, as evidenced by smooth vocal harmonies, catchy riffs and upbeat rhythms. The band draws from a deep setlist of 80’s and 90’s covers, as well as a few originals. Sing-alongs and throwback nostalgia are highly encouraged when Ditch Cat takes the stage.
